Project Based Learning and Climate Change
Noel Booth grade 6 and 7 students recently were called to action to learn more about climate change and how it has affected different areas of British Columbia. Working in randomly selected groups of their peers and in conjunction with both French Immersion and English grade 6 and 7 students at Belmont Elementary, they researched how climate change has affected the plants, animals, weather and water in the Haida Gwaii, Thompson-Okanagan and Peace River areas of British Columbia.
