Information around the Where Everybody Belongs (WEB) Program
WEB stands for “Where Everybody Belongs”. This is a dynamic middle school orientation and transition program that welcomes Grade 6’s and strives to help them feel comfortable throughout their first year of middle school. WEB is built on the belief that students can help students succeed. The program trains Grade 8’s to become WEB mentors who will foster positive connections with new Grade 6s. As supportive role models, WEB mentors guide the Grade 6’s to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to middle school and help facilitate Grade 6 sense of belonging and success.
